In spite of tge above – the stay at Whiskey Ridge was very, very nice.
Positive: Great location – semi-secluded, yet close to the major attractions we wanted to see.
Negative: Trash wasn’t picked-up from the previous guests, nor was the trash picked-up on the assigned day pick-up. Also, upon arrival the water wasn’t working. It took (3) hours to get it back on. There are no curtains. And the master suite had no door at the bathroom. -
Beautiful location, beautiful house! Comfy and clean for a group. Loved it.
Positive: The house was in a beautiful location with the most spectacular view ever over looking the ski lift. I loved how there are 3 floors so we each felt like we had our own space. The large couch was comfy and the table was large enough for all of us to sit around. There was a really nice pack n play and high chair for the 2 year old, and she got her own room in the quiet lower level. Very kid friendly house as the stairway to go down had a door and the stairway to go up was tucked away behind the kitchen. We didn’t use the kitchen much, but it was really spacious and beautiful. Everyone had their own bathroom which was really cool.
Negative: It was very cold in the lowest level and too warm on the main level with a bathroom heater that wouldn’t turn off. The upstairs was a comfortable temperature. There was no furniture on 2 of the 3 decks to sit on. The cleaners missed cleaning the Blackstone so we didn’t get to use that, but it’s there if we did which was a bonus. This did not impact our stay too much however, and we would definitely stay here again.
